About our church

Our Maria Lutheran Congregation was formed in 1906, originally as a Swedish Lutheran church. We have recently affiliated with the North American Lutheran Church (NALC) and Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC).

Pastoral Assistant: Wade Hudson

Wade serves in this position 20 hours per week and is available during office hours and by appointment. He is receiving training in the NALC Pastoral Assistant program. Wade works with the church council, is part of the Maria Worship Team, visits members at home, in hospital and care homes, oversees our Christian education programs for youth and adults, and coordinates activities with other area organizations. He is also available to do Baptisms, funerals and help with weddings.
